Why I write?

Keeping with the theme of the website, this is my home directory of things I've learnt and have had time to write about. I aim to enhance my skills and document my knowledge of things I have encountered in the world of software engineering. This lets me refer back to these posts over time when I am working on something similar again.

Why in public?

I hope that some of the information in these posts might be useful to someone else. I spend lots of time scouring the internet in search of answers to my software problems and hope that this can repay some of that. If I'm writing these posts anyway, why not share them.
